Well , it depends on the kind of labour.

Like for skilled labour, i think most jobs under skilled labour don't really require long working hours because they are professional jobs. So I think both employees and employers work at a certain rate depending on the job.

I think unskilled labour requires more time. For instance, gardeners or maids. I think these people work longer than their employers ( they just give them instructions).
