Answer y = 3 and x = 7

3(13-2y) - 5y = 6
39 - 6y - 5y = 6
39 - 11y = 6
39 = 6 + 11y
33 = 11y
3 = y

So x = 7

Because x + 2x3 = 11
x = 11 - 6
