1) Take wholesale cost and multiply it by 95%, then add to the original value
another way, just multiply by 1.95

Retail cost:  1.95x($99.50) = $194.03

2)
Cost = $3.95

Mark up = 20%

20/100 X 3.95 = $0.79

Retail cost: 3.95 + 0.79 = $ 4.74
