You must remember the order of operations, which is Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, and Subtraction.

First we do the exponent.

6^2 = 36

36 + 14/7 / 5 + 9 - 3

Then we divide 14/2 by 5, which is 0.40

36 + 0.40 + 9 - 3

Now add

45.4 - 3

Finally subtract.

42.4 is the answer.
