The following are the correct values for a, b and c for the quadratic equations:
a = 1
b = 1
c = -4

In order to find this you must solve the equation for 0 and then place in ascending order of powers.

-2x=-x+x^2-4 ---> add 2x to both sides
0 = x + x^2 - 4 ----> place the x^2 before the x
0 = x^2 + x - 4

Now you can read the coefficients in their order for a, b and c. Since there is a 1 on the x^2, it would be 1. Same with the x value for b. And the one with no x value is c, which is -4.
