How are producers different from consumers

Producers is a organism that makes it own food through photosynthesis which are plants, and consumers are organisms  that eat consumers for example a bear would be a consumer because the bear eats berries and the plant that produces the berries would be the producer. So the difference between the two is that the "producer makes food, but the consumer eats the food the producer makes."
