Answer:

Find the two ways to find the difference of : [tex]\frac{13}{50} -4.93[/tex]

First way:

[tex]\frac{13}{50}[/tex]

To convert this fraction  into decimal.

We have to make the denominator 100.

i.,e

[tex]\frac{13}{50} = \frac{13 \times 2}{50 \times 2}= \frac{26}{100} = 0.26[/tex]

now,

[tex]0.26-4.93 = - 4.67[/tex]

Second way:

Convert [tex]\frac{13}{50}[/tex] to [tex]\frac{26}{100}[/tex] and 4.93 to [tex]\frac{493}{100}[/tex],

Now:

[tex]\frac{26}{100}-\frac{493}{100} = \frac{26-493}{100} =-\frac{467}{100} = -4.67[/tex]
