0.3 converts to [tex]\frac{3}{10}[/tex]

subtracting the 2 fractions would leave you with the answer of -[tex]\frac{1}{2}[/tex]

The answer is 3/10
Then when you subtract it, it is 3/10-4/5
Making the denominator the same ( the number on the bottom of the fraction)
The common number is 10 so it would be
3/10- 8/10 which would be -5/10 which you then simplify and divide both numbers by 5 which gives you -1/2
