Answer:5x²+14x-3=0

5x²+15x-x-3=0

5x(x+3)-x-3=0

5x(x+3)-(x+3)=0

(X-3)×(5x-1)=0

Answer:

x= 1/5 and x= -3 or (-3, 0) and (1/5, 0)

Step-by-step explanation:

I think the easiest way would be the snowflake method.

you have to find 2 numbers that would multiply to get -15, but add to get 14, which would be 15 and -1.

then you would have (5x-1)(5x+15)

5x+15 would simplify to:  x+3

your equation would then be:

(5x-1)(x+3)

make both of those equal to "0", and solve for both.

5x-1=0 and x+3=0
