For this case we have the following functions:

[tex]f (x) = x + 7\\g (x) = x-4[/tex]

We must find the product of the functions:

[tex]f (x) * g (x) = (x + 7) (x-4)[/tex]

We apply distributive property:

[tex]f (x) * g (x) = x ^ 2-4x + 7x-28\\f (x) * g (x) = x ^ 2 + 3x-28[/tex]

Finally, the product of the functions is:

[tex]x ^ 2 + 3x-28[/tex]

Answer:

[tex]x ^ 2 + 3x-28[/tex]
