It makes up the Nervous System, if you're asking what it is made up of, Brain: Cerebellum, Cortex, Brain Stem, and Basal Ganglia; The spinal cord is made up of: Vertebrae and cartilage; the parts of the spine are: Cervical, Thoracic, Lumbar, Sacrum, and Coccyx

The brain and spinal cord make up the axial division of the skeletal system. The other is called the appendicular division and contains all the bones that connect to the axial.
