[tex] \frac{18r+29}{5} =-5[/tex]

Multiply both sides by 5 :

[tex] \frac{18r+29}{5} *5 = -5*5[/tex]

[tex]18r+29 =-25[/tex]

[tex]18r = - 54[/tex]

Divide both sides by 18 :

[tex] \frac{18r}{18} = \frac{-54}{18} [/tex]

[tex]r = \frac{-54}{18} [/tex]

[tex]r = -3[/tex]

hope this helps!
