- In immigration people enter into a new nation and increase population density over there.
- In emigration people leaves their own birth place and reduces population over there.
There are two main factors which affects migration: Pull factor and Push factor.
- Pull factors work parallel with immigration where it attracts people from other nation because of various opportunities like good environment, availability of education, service etc.
- Push factors go with emigration where some unfavourable conditions of a particular nation compel people to leave that place like famine, scarcity of water, excessive pollution.
