We need to find the angle as,

sin θ = mλ / d

We have to find the angle as,

θ  = sin⁻¹ ( mλ / d )

Here m = 1,

θ = sin⁻¹ ( [tex]$\frac{1\times565 \times 10^{-9} }{6\times 10^{-6} }[/tex] )

  = sin⁻¹(0.0942)

  = 5.40°

So the first diffraction minimum located at an angle of 5.40°.
