Slope or gradient taken from any point of the graph are the same.
Therefore, let’s take the points (0,5) and (1,3) to find its gradient.

gradient =(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
=(3-5)/(1-0)
=-2

Now, let’s put in the value of the gradient and one of the y values and one of the x values in the equation y=mx+c to find the value of c.
y=mx+c
5=-2(0)+c
c=5

Equation of the graph:
y=-2x+5
