50 g of H₂ = 50 /2 = 25 moles of H₂

100 g of O₂ = 100 / 32 = 3.125 moles of O₂

So oxygen is the limiting reagent .

3.125 moles of O₂ will react with 6.25 moles of H₂ to give 6.25 moles of H₂O .

Hence moles of H₂O produced = 6.25 moles .
