(7x^3 – 4x^2) + (2x^3 – 4x^2)
Add 2x^3 to 7x^3
(9x^3 - 4x^2) + (-4x^2)
Add -4x^2 to -4x^2. This would be the same as subtracting 4x^2 from -4x^2
Final Answer: 9x^3 - 8x^2

*The answer cannot be broken down anymore. It's in it's simplest form.
