Hey there! I'm happy to help!

Here is our equation. We want to isolate the x on one side of the equation to see what it equals.

4x+6=-44+5x

We subtract 5x from both sides.

-x+6=-44

We subtract 6 from both sides.

-x=-50

We divide both sides by -1 (-x is the same as -1x)

x=50

Have a wonderful day! :D
