Because we find perimeter by Length + Width x 2, in order to find out the width and the length, we need to remove x2. After that, we get fifteen because we divided thirty by 2. We then need to divide 15 by 3 because we need 1/3 of 15 (whatever that may be) for the width and the we need double of the width for the length which would be 2/3. 1/3 of 15 =5. When you double that, you get 10 for length. So width=5 and Length=10.
