[tex] {a}^{x} = m \\ log_{a}(m) = x[/tex]

[tex]( \frac{1}{3} )^{x} = 27 \\ log_{ \frac{1}{3} }(27) = x[/tex]

That's the logarithmic form. Do you need with solving the equation too?
