You can have something like an area model. You may have not learned it yet but it's very simple. You can draw a rectangle for example and have a side be 6 inches and the other 17. So it would be length x width to get 6x17=n

There are 6 people. Each person has 17 apples. How many apples are total.
There are 102 apples total.
17*6=102
