L=Length of the rectangular patio

A=Area of the rectangular patio

W=Width of the rectangular patio

f=foot

------------------------------------

L=25/2f

A=(103+1/8)f²=(824/8+1/8)f²=825/8f²

-----------------------------

Now, A=L*W=825/8f²

-------------------------------

USE BODMAS

Therefore:

25/2fW=825/8f²

So...

W=(825/8f²)/(25/2f)

=33/4f

You just do the area divided by the length, and you get the width, or area divided by width to get the length for future notice. 103 1/8 divided by 12 1/2 might not be 8 1/4! :D
