The x-intercept is the point on the graph where it crosses the x-axis. It’s also the value of the x-coordinate when y = 0.

To find the x-intercept, set y = 0:

-5x + 1/5(0) = 15

-5x + 0 = 15
-5x = 15

Divide both sides by -5:

x = -3.

Therefore, the x-intercept is (-3, 0).
