How do I find the values of the variables and the lengths of the sides for this Kite?

x + 0.5 , 2x - 3.5 , y + 2 , 2y - 2.8

1st length x+0.5=2x-3.5 x=4
2nd length y+2=2y-2.8 y=4.8
The lengths of the kite would be 4 and 4.8
