One mole of gold (197 g) contains 6.022x10^23 gold atoms or 3.011x10^25 electrons. 2.6 kg of gold = 2,600 / 197 = 13.2 moles of gold. It contains 13.2 moles x 3.011x10^25 electron / mole = 3.97x10^26 electrons The total charge of all the electrons = (1.6x10^-19 C / electrn)(3.97x10^27 electron) = 6.36x10^7 C is the total charge
