It's 12. The smallest number both 6 and 4 multiply to is 12 (it doesn't have to be when they multiply together just a number both can get to)

6 multiples: 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42, 48, 54, and so on.
4 multiples: 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, 32, 36, 40, and so on.
