= 3 * 10 * 10

= 3 * 100

= 300


AND

12 * 10^4

= 12 * 10 * 10 * 10 * 10

= 12 * 100 * 100

= 12 * 10,000

= 120,000


SIMPLIFYING the ANSWER


120,000 - 300

= 119,700

≈ 100,000


Therefore, your answer should be:

100,000
