Multiply 17 x 3 to find the original number which is 51
then to check it you can divide 51 by 3 and you should get 17

You can either add 17+17+17 which would be 51 or if you would rather use multiplication you could do 17x3 which would be 51 also. I hope this helps some and have a good day!
