What term refers to the possession of both masculine and feminine gender characteristics?

The term that is being described above is the term ANDROGYNY. Androgyny is the mixture of having both the traits of female and male. One can be called androgynous if he or she possesses both traits like for example, a female having broad shoulders or a hairy body.
