(not sure if its supposed to be -2 or +2 so I'll do both)

y - 2 = -3(x - 7)
y - 2 = -3x + 21
   +2              +2
y = -3x + 23        (The slope is -3)

y + 2 = -3(x - 7)
y + 2 = -3x + 21
    -2              -2
y = -3x + 19    (The slope is still -3)
