If g(x) = 7x, then plug 7x in for g(x) in the inequality.

g(x) > 28
7x > 28

To solve this inequality, divide both sides by 7.
7x / 7 = x
28 / 7 = 4

x > 4 when g(x) = 7x and g(x) > 28.
So the answer is x > 4.

Hope this helps!
