The length of a rectangle is 12 cm more than it's width . Find the area of the rectangle if it's perimeter is 100 cm

l = 12 + w
2l + 2w = 100

2(12 + w) + 2w = 100
24 + 4w = 100
4w = 76
w = 19

l = 12 + (19)
l = 31

Area = l * w
Area = 19*31
Area = 589 cm^2
