2.6 = 26/10 = 260 / 100 ;
2.7 = 27/10 = 270 / 100 ;
But, 260 / 100 < 265 / 100 < 270 / 100 ;
A rational number between 2.6 and 2.7 is 2.65 ;

There's no number between 6 and 7, but we can add an extra digit with less value.
2.6 = two and six tenths
2.7 = two and seven tenths
2.65 = two, six tenths and five hundredths
