We start with the given expression and then simplify:

[tex] \sqrt{128} [/tex]

[tex] \sqrt{64*2} [/tex]

[tex] 8 \sqrt{2} [/tex]

Since 2 has no perfect square factors, this radical is now as simplified as possible.
