First, we make 16 into a fraction. 16 becomes 16/1. Our new problem is 16/1 divided by 3/5. When we divide fractions, we switch the numerator and denominator of the second fraction, then multiply. So now our equation is 16/1 x 5/3. We then multiply the numerators and denominators, coming up with 80/3, or 26 and 2/3.
