If the nursing staff choose quality assurance/improvement as a work technique then they would be anxious to ensure their work was done to a high quality in terms of such things as giving their patients their medicine on time and having a good bedside manner and as far as improvement goes they could ensure that they listened to their patients' concerns and implemented corrections to their behaviour accordingly.
