Suppose that 13 inches of wire costs 52 cents at the same rate how many inches of wire can be bought for 24 cents

The answer is 6 inches of wire.
Steps:
First, divide 52 by 13.
You get 4.
So each inch of wire cost 4 cents.
Next, divide 24 by 4.
You get 6.
So 6 inches of wire can be bought for 24 cents.
