To find this we need to use the area of a circle formula for both targets. The area formula is below.

A = pi*r^2

First we find the area for the bigger target

A = pi*7^2

A = 49*pi

Then we find it for the smaller target

A = pi*5^2

A = 25*pi

Now we subtract the smaller from the larger.

49*pi - 25*pi = 24*pi or about 75
