To say that my brother is going to his job in Spanish, I'd say something like this:


Mi hermano va a su trabajo


Therefore, mi hermano means my brother. On the other hand, va is the conjugation of the verb ir that matches the third person singular in the simple present. Finally, trabajo means job.
