The given expression is

[tex] \frac{2x}{-5x+x^2} [/tex]

First we need to factor the denominator. And x is common in the denominator .

So we will get

[tex] \frac{2x}{x(-5+x)} [/tex]

Cancelling the common x of the numerator and denominator

[tex] \frac{2}{-5+x} [/tex]

And that's the simplified form .

Excluded values

Denominator should not be zero .

[tex] \-5x+x^2=0
\\ x(-5+x)=0
\\ x =0 , -5+x =0
\\x=0,5 [/tex]

So the excluded values are x=0,5 .
