Can the sides of a triangle have lengths 9.7, 1.2, and 10.9?

yes, the way to tell is by adding the length of the two smaller sides, if they equal the length of the largest side than it will make a triangle. and in this case it works as 9.7 +1.2=10.9. although I'm not 100% sure on that, but I think that is correct.
