The area of a rectangle is 63 m2 , and the length of the rectangle is 5 m more than double the width. find the dimensions of the rectangle.

If you let x represent the width of the rectangle, then you can write the equation for area as
.. x(2x +5) -63 = 0
This has positive solution x=4.5.

The rectangle is 4.5 meters by 14 meters.
