Human land use has significantly impacted the environment in a plethora of ways, some of the most notable being deforestation, urbanization, industrialization, and agricultural use. Many actions relating to these have contributed to habitat loss, soil degradation, pollution, and a limited source of biodiversity. Ultimately, human land use proved over time to serve as a detriment to the balance of natural occurrences and processes.
